Effective 1 December 2025 Last reviewed December 2025 Version 1.0 OramisAI Pty Ltd  ABN 54 693 539 936

This Cookie Policy explains how OramisAI Pty Ltd (ACN 693 539 936) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website at www.oramisai.com. It explains what cookies are, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

This Cookie Policy is incorporated into and forms part of OramisAI's Privacy Policy. Defined terms used in this Policy that are not otherwise defined herein have the meanings given to them in the OramisAI Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. This Policy should be read together with those documents.

1. Introduction

OramisAI Pty Ltd (ACN 693 539 936) ("OramisAI", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website at www.oramisai.com (the "Site").

This Cookie Policy ("Policy") explains what cookies are, the types of cookies and tracking technologies we use, why we use them, how they interact with your personal information under our Privacy Policy, and how you can manage your cookie preferences.

This Policy applies only to the OramisAI public website at www.oramisai.com. It does not govern cookies or tracking technologies within OramisAI's licensed Software platform. OramisAI does not deploy cookies within its Software platform for its own purposes.

When you first visit our Site, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept, reject, or customise your preferences by cookie category. Non-essential cookies (analytics, functional, and targeting) will only be set after you have actively accepted them. Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically as they are required for the Site to operate.

2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites function, improve user experience, and provide information to website operators.

In addition to cookies, we may also use: web beacons (small, invisible image files embedded in web pages or emails that record whether a page has been viewed or an email opened); local storage objects (data stored directly in your browser's local or session storage); session identifiers (tokens generated when you visit the Site that maintain your session state); and analytics SDKs (scripts that collect information about how you interact with pages and features).

2.1 First-Party vs Third-Party Cookies

First-party cookies are set directly by OramisAI when you visit our Site. Third-party cookies are set by our service providers and partners (such as analytics platforms). We do not control third-party cookies and their use is governed by the relevant third party's privacy and cookie policies.

2.2 Session vs Persistent Cookies

Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them.

OramisAI's use of cookies is governed primarily by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Where cookies collect personal information, we rely on the following bases:

  • Consent: for non-essential cookies (functional, analytics, targeting), we obtain your active consent via our cookie banner before those cookies are set. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Operational necessity: strictly necessary cookies are set automatically because they are essential for the Site to function. They do not require your consent.
  • Contractual necessity: certain cookies may be required to provide services you have requested.

We do not use cookies to collect sensitive information as defined in the Privacy Act.

4. Categories of Cookies We Use

We use four categories of cookies on our Site, described below. You can control your preferences for non-essential categories using our Cookie Preference Centre.

4.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Site to function and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are used to maintain your session when you navigate between pages; remember your cookie preferences once set; enable access to secure areas of the Site; support load balancing; and detect and prevent fraudulent or malicious activity.

4.2 Performance and Analytics Cookies

These cookies allow us to measure and improve the performance of our Site by collecting aggregated usage information about how visitors interact with it. Analytics cookies are set only with your active consent. We use analytics data solely for our own internal purposes. Our current analytics tools include Google Analytics 4.

4.3 Functional Cookies

Functional cookies allow the Site to remember choices you make and provide enhanced features. They are set only with your consent. They may be used to remember your preferred language, region, or display settings; pre-fill forms with previously provided information; remember whether you have previously dismissed a notification; and support live chat or customer support features.

4.4 Targeting and Marketing Cookies

Targeting cookies are used to deliver content and advertisements that are more relevant to your interests and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. Targeting cookies are set only with your explicit consent. You can withdraw consent at any time through our Cookie Preference Centre.

OramisAI does not use targeting cookies to build profiles for sale to third parties, and does not allow third-party advertising networks to collect data from our Site for their own profiling purposes without your consent.

5. Cookie Register

6. Cookies We Do Not Use

For clarity, OramisAI does not use cookies or tracking technologies for the following purposes:

  • selling personal information to third parties;
  • building individual behavioural profiles for sale or licence to advertising networks;
  • collecting sensitive information as defined under the Privacy Act;
  • tracking individuals across third-party websites without appropriate consent;
  • fingerprinting your device or browser without disclosure; or
  • tracking children. Our Site is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age.

7. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

7.1 Cookie Preference Centre

When you first visit our Site, you will be presented with a cookie consent notice that allows you to accept, reject, or customise your cookie preferences by category. You can revisit and update your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of our Site. Your preferences are stored in a strictly necessary cookie on your device. If you clear your cookies or use a different browser or device, you will be asked for your preferences again.

7.2 Browser-Level Controls

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. For guidance on managing cookies in common browsers:

7.3 Third-Party Opt-Outs

For third-party analytics and targeting cookies, you may also opt out directly through the relevant provider:

7.4 Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. OramisAI's Site does not currently respond to DNT signals, as there is no consistent industry standard for how such signals should be honoured. You can use our Cookie Preference Centre or browser settings to control cookie use.

7.5 Withdrawing Consent

Where our use of cookies is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time through the Cookie Preference Centre or by contacting us using the details in Section 11. Strictly necessary cookies will continue to be used regardless of consent withdrawal, as they are required for the Site to operate.

8. Cookies and Personal Information

Some cookies may collect personal information as defined under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), for example where they record an IP address, a login identifier, or browsing behaviour that can be linked to an identified individual. Where cookies collect personal information, that information is handled in accordance with OramisAI's Privacy Policy.

We do not use cookie-collected personal information to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you; to infer sensitive attributes without your knowledge; or in a manner inconsistent with the purposes disclosed in this Policy or our Privacy Policy.

9. International Transfers

Some third-party service providers whose cookies are deployed on our Site (including analytics and marketing providers) may process data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. OramisAI takes reasonable steps to ensure such information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, including through contractual protections.

For information about how specific third-party cookie providers handle and transfer personal information, please refer to the relevant provider's privacy policy, including Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

10. Website Cookies vs. the OramisAI Software Platform

This Policy governs cookie use on the OramisAI public website only. OramisAI does not deploy cookies or similar tracking technologies within its Software platform for its own operational or commercial purposes. The platform is software tooling deployed within the customer's own controlled environment.

Where a customer deploys the OramisAI Software within their own environment, the customer is the data controller for that environment and is solely responsible for determining whether and how cookies or tracking technologies are used within their deployment; providing appropriate cookie notices and obtaining required consents from their own end users; and complying with applicable privacy, data protection, and electronic communications laws in their jurisdiction.
